Today in class we took notes on glycolysis and fermentation. On Monday, we'll review these topics and move on to aerobic respiration.

Today in class we took a quiz over photosynthesis. After the quiz we watched a video about wildlife in Patagonia and worked on the homework.
Homework: Read pp127-138 Questions: p131 #1-5 On Wednesday we'll discuss the first parts of cell respiration. This will eventually be combined with photosynthesis on a test Today in class we reviewed photosynthesis with some videos and flash animations, then used the rest of the class to work on homework, listed below. There will be a quiz over photosynthesis on Monday.
Homework: p 122 #1, 3-17, 19-21 CT #1 Ext #2 Today in class we discussed the Calvin Cycle and finished up photosynthesis. After notes, we did homework.
Homework: WS 6.2, and write a paragraph describing the events of photosynthesis from start to finish using chemical names and describing products of the reactions. Today in class we took notes over photosynthesis basics and the light reactions.
Homework: read 6.2 and do WS Today we took the test over chapters 4+5. We then watched a video.
Homework: Read Section 1 of Chapter 6 (Photosynthesis) pp111-116 and answer questions 1-6 on p116. Today in class we played Part II of the review game and started the Study Guide for the test over Ch 4+5. This study guide (file below) is due Wednesday before the test.
Today in class we reviewed chapters 4 + 5 in preparation for a test next Wednesday. We did a worksheet as well.
