Today in class we identified various cell parts, including some organelles. We'll finish these next class.
Today students got guidelines for the "Build a Cell" project. This will be due October 3. Today's homework was a worksheet over section 4.2 Today in class we went to the library to listen to a presentation from WIU's Dr. Anderson who spoke about her research over the summer in Fulton County. We then did a worksheet about 4.1
No homework (unless you didn't finish the worksheet in class.) Today in class we took notes over sections 3.1+3. We then did a lab looking at different types of cells. Notes over organelles and cell architecture on Monday.
No homework. Today in class we took a test over Ch 1-3. The rest of the hour, we watched a video while students worked on the homework.
Today's homework is to read pp69-72 do questions 1, 4, 5 and read pp86-88 do questions 1-3. We will talk more about cells on Wednesday. Today in class we reviewed for the test (Chapter Review in the book.)
The homework is to do the study guide for Ch 3. There will be no grade for this, but it should help you prepare. Remember, the upcoming test will be over Chapters 1-3. The test will be Monday; be sure to study! Today in class we took the rest of the notes over section 3.3 about biochem.
The homework is a WS 3.2-3. If you haven't started studying for the test over chapters 1-3, please start now; that test will be next Monday. In class, we took notes on carbon compounds and carbohydrates. We also worked on and discussed a worksheet regarding properties of water. There was no homework.
Today we took a quiz over Ch 2, then notes about 3.1
