Today in class we started work on the Particle Science Presentation that will be due Friday. We'll be in the lab today and Thursday working towards completing it. Below are the guidelines and rubric.

Today in class we took the quiz over Atomic structure and nuclear changes. We will start a project on Tuesday. No homework.
Today in class we did a review in preparation for the upcoming test over atomic structure and nuclear particles. Use the study guide handed out in class to direct your studying for the test on Thursday.
Homework (if not finished in class): p105 #20, 23, 25, 29, 30, 31 (a-c), 37 p734 #27, 28, 31, 34, 36, 45, 47, 48 (c+d), 75 Today in class we took the rest of the chapter's notes concerning applications of nuclear equations, including nuclear reactor basics. We then practiced half-life calculations.
The homework was a review packet. Today in class we took notes over nuclear decay, fission, and fusion. There was no homework.
Today we took a quiz over atomic structure, then watched a video about the Manhattan Project in preparation for the upcoming information about nuclear energy.
No homework. See you next quarter. Today in class we took notes on the forces and particles of the atomic nucleus.
Homework: Read and Outline pp714-715, 725-732 Today in class we worked on the Scientist/Discovery Essay. This is due next class and can be submitted over email. The assignment sheet is below:
